Castle Nursery at Shamley Green was awarded an "outstanding" in all aspects of their latest Ofsted inspection. This is a true reflection in the achievement and success of the nursery through their people and to further endorsed by their "Investor in People" award.

Nursery Manager, Kate Walding commented "We were delighted to achieve this high standard and we continue to strive to maintain this. This success shows the company's commitment to develop and achieve a high level of professionalism within the staff team."

South Hill Queen of the Castle, Charlotte Hampshire, Our longest serving member of staff at South Hill celebrated 10 years at her post with a surprise party organised by her colleagues and the children. There were balloons and a cake to mark the occasion and parents were also invited to spend the afternoon at the party. Colleagues commented that Charlotte is a hard working and popular member of the team. "Charlotte gets on really well with everyone and the children love her."

Caroline Laidlaw, The Nursery Manager, commented "We are delighted to have Charlotte as a committed and dedicated member of our nursery, the team at South Hill are very proud of her."

It's back to school for many of the team members at South Hill with staff going back to College and University. Four members of staff are completing Degrees in Early Years Education. One member of staff is completing her BA and two staff members are working towards their NVQ level two and three qualifications. Nursery Manager Caroline Laidlaw says: "It shows the staff that Castle wants them to progress and that we are dedicated in supporting their development. We are very proud of all of the team".
